Registering Your Business with Finda

You may have noticed Finda appearing all over the Google search results. This is because they have recently linked up with Google Map, so businesses that are listed with them are getting free listings at the top of search engines when people search for a service/product in a particular area.

Therefore we seriously recommend registering your business on Finda, if you have not already done so, and hopefully get yourself more exposure for free!

Below are five simple steps to add your business listing on Finda website (www.finda.co.nz). Before you add the listing you will first need to create a user account. To begin, click on the (Register) link on the upper right-hand side of the Finda homepage.

Step 1: Create account

Enter your details in the required fields and specify your email address and password. Tick the checkbox ‘Keep me logged in’. Click (Next) to proceed.

You’ll be directed to the home page. Click ‘Add your business now’ link to proceed.

Step 2: Add a business

Fill in your Administrative Contact and Business Information. Only the fields with * marks are compulsory. However, the more information supplied the easier it is for prospective customers to find your business.

Once you have filled in all the details, click (Next) to proceed.

Step 3: Location & Address

Enter your physical address and the map below should appear underneath to show your location. Assign your area location and postal and billing address if needed.

Once you have filled in all the details, click (Next) to proceed.

Step 4: Category information

You’ll be asked to suggest a category to reflect your business. Type in the industry your business is in (eg. Construction, Real Estate) and the following field Finda will suggest the precise categories to place you business. Select the category that best fit your business, and click (Next) to proceed.

Step 5: Images & Extras

You can choose to upload up to 10 images to you business listing. The optimal size for the image is 500px x 380px. You have the option to fill in additional information about your business in the following section.

Once you have filled in all the details, click (Save & Complete) to proceed.

Your business listing will be moderated by the Finda team before it appears on the directory. You’ll also be given the option to upgrade your account for a higher search rank in Bronze, Silver or Gold.

You have now successfully registered your business with Finda!
